Obituary of Geraldine Bowman

Our beloved Helen Geraldine Bowman, 68, of Winter Haven, FL entered into heaven to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 due to pneumonia. Born March 3, 1944 in Roxboro, NC to Clint and Helen Day, she was the youngest girl of eight brothers and sisters. She moved to Winter Haven shortly after marrying the love of her life Donnie H. Bowman in 1965. She was of Christian Faith, owner and beautician of Garden Beauty Salon before retiring in April of 2012, to spend more time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Billy, Bobby, and Mike. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donnie; two sons, Mark and Kevin; granddaughter Zoey and daughter-in-law Scarlett Bowman; two brothers, Frank and Clint Jr. Day; three sisters, Odile Riggs, Shelby Colclough and Jeanette Talbott. Geraldine truly loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.
