Obituary of Dorothy Mae Long

Dorothy Mae Long of Winter Haven, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 from heart failure at the Winter Haven Hospital. She was 86. A native of Garrett, PA, born June 28, 1926 to Alonzo and Freda Lucht Walters, Dorothy moved here over 30 years ago from Meyersdale, PA. She was a Homemaker, and of the Lutheran Faith. Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers: Edward, William, and Lester, and her sister Eleanor. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Long; her daughter: Elizabeth (Mike) of Winter Haven; her grandchildren: Vickie (Randy) Laroche of Winter Haven and Matthew (Kelli) Bolden of Harpers Ferry, WV; and her great-grandchildren: Rachelle, Josh, Abby, and Cooper.
