Obituary of Allie Buchanan

Lois "Allie" Buchanan, 90, of Lake Alfred passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center. Born May 28, 1922 in Chattanooga, TN, She moved here in 1953. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Haven. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Cordell T. Buchanan and a son, William L. Buchanan. She is survived by her son, Jim C. Buchanan and his wife Malinda of Auburndale; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer and Sandra Buchanan; and a daughter-in-law, Wanda Buchanan. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am, Friday, May 24, 2013 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A Graveside service will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
