Obituary of Francis Herbert Lucas

Francis Herbert Lucas, 85, of Davenport, FL passed away on July 5, 2013 of respiratory failure. He was born on May 15, 1928 in Manhattan, NY and moved to Davenport in 2003 from Long Island, NY. Francis was a retired Merchant Seaman and a member of the Islip United Methodist Church in Islip, NY. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and he enjoyed playing cards at Westview Ridge. He is predeceased by his first wife, Annie Lucas and he is survived by his wife, of 10 years, Thelma Bonfiglio-Lucas; daughter, Annie Bruno of Farmingville, NY; siblings, Bruce, Roger, Margaret, Joanie and Cookie; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A visitation will be Friday, 7/12/13 from 10 am until the funeral at noon at Pable-Evertz Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, NJ. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
