Obituary of Maxwell Paul

Maxwell Paul, 83, of Lakeland passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his residence due to heart failure. Born November 4, 1929 in Ashford, AL he moved to Lakeland in 1954. He was a member of the Heaven Bound Freewill Baptist Church , and was retired from FMC where he drove a truck. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. His favorite hobby was fishing which he lived and breathed to do. He is survived by: his wife, Mary; 2 sons, Michael Paul of Lakeland, FL and Devon Paul of Hartwell, GA; a daughter, Beverly Paul of Lakeland, FL; 3 sisters, Christine Lannon of Ashford, AL, Dean Woodham of Ashford, AL and Lucille Karns of Boca Raton, FL; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am, Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
