I have to say my absolute favorite memory was when you stayed a few weeks out of the summer with us. It was full of nonstop laughter and pranks. Pink toenail polish looked really good on you. Mom didn't love the fact that her carpet was soaking wet after you dumped a pitcher of Ice water on me. We had a great time though. Thank you for the wonderful memories to remember you by. I'll always see your smiling face. I love you!

One of my favorite memories of Austin was about ten years ago. I had just moved in across the street from his family. I was outside pulling up sod & this 14 yr old kid kept asking me questions & watching me work. I finally told him to help or get lost. He walked off & I got back to work thinking I got rid of him....not so fast!! To my surprise he showed back up after changing clothes & was ready to work. Austin helped me until dark that day, making me laugh the entire time. After that day he was not just some kid next door, we were friends. We will miss you Austin. The Evans family.

My memories of Austin are him borrowing Jimmy's tools for all his projects, setting off fireworks, and saying I had an "old man's truck". He was kind and respectful of us older people. We always asked about you over the years and will miss you Austin. Mimi and Papa with the old man's truck. Misty's Dad.

With Austin, there was never a dull moment in the classroom at Grace. He always knew how to brighten someone's day by making them laugh. He brought so much joy and happiness to those around him.. I know I will never forget the smiles, giggles and laughs at the numerous things we didn't understand in Spanish class! I know those memories will always be in my heart! When I heard the news, this is how I remembered him- just happy & full of life!

Honestly Austin, there were so many that I don't even know where to begin. We've been through so much together. We've learned from one another and become better men together. Every moment with you is a blessed memory. Every day at work and every afternoon that followed is precious to me. I honestly can't pick a certain memory because they were all great and special to me. I love you buddy. We will meet again

Austin , I can not even count how many Saturday and Sunday mornings I would wake up, walk into my living room and find you sleeping on my couch or the floor while you were in high school . I would just step over you to go get my coffee. Living in Terra Nova meant having all the neighborhood kids at the house . I didn't mind , you were a great person and a great friend to my daughter . I have had many laughs at all if you hanging out , having a fire in the back yard ( which I'm sure my neighbors did not like ) lol . My door was always open. I will always hold onto the memories of the group growing up in Terra Nova, even when we moved away for a while and decided to come back to Polk you were right there to make the long 5 hr trip one way to help move us back !! As time went on everyone moved on in different directions , I still remember the last tone I saw you was when my daughter got into her own apartment and you and Josh showed up and gave me a big hug :) you were such a respectful young man . You will truly be missed by me and many. Only god knows why he took you so early but he must have had important reason. Your family and friends ( many many friends ) will now have you as a guardian angel watching over. God bless you darlin !! RIP until we are united together again. You will never be forgotten ever !!

Every time I think about you Austin I can't help but to smile. You were A great man, always trying to brighten someone's day. I keep returning to the days that we spent together in high school which was much like the movie "Step Brothers" the only difference was that our movie was a reality. To be honest we have so many memories together its hard to pick which ones to share although my favorite memory would have to be the time me, you, Brian and Bobby decided to go out on the ATV's at night, what a adventure that ended up being. . My deepest condolences to the family along with your Girlfriend Mary Ebanks. You will always have a special place in all of our hearts. We love you brother, Chase Varner
