Obituary of Manuel Fernandez

MELBOURNE - Manuel Fernandez, 72, of Melbourne died November 15, 2013 in Melbourne, Fl. He was born September 21, 1941 in Passaic, NJ to Avelino and Lillian (Caruso) Fernandez, Sr. Mr. Fernandez was Catholic by faith, was an accomplished gardener, was known to frequent Waffle House, loved to travel and loved Rutgers University. He was predeceased by his parents; wife Catherine Fernandez; and brother Avelino Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez is survived by his sons Anthony (Ronnie) Fernandez of Palm Bay and Manny (Kathy) Fernandez of Palm Bay; daughters Terry (George) Armstrong of Melbourne and Evone Noll of Pennsylvania; brother Anthony Fernandez of Winter Haven; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1PM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
