Obituary of Edith C. Hendricks

Edith C. Hendricks of Winter Haven, passed away Wednesday, November20, 2013 at the Life Care Center from respiratory failure. She was 85. A native of Alabama, born July 27, 1928 to Ezra and Pauline Elrod Franklin, Edith has been a lifelong resident of this area. She retired after almost 30 years as a Lunch Room Attendant at Garner Elementary, and she was a member of the Living Waters Church in Eagle Lake. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Hendricks. She is survived by her daughters: Denise LaFontaine (Dave) and Carol Bellinger, both of Winter Haven; Cheryl Joshlin of Haines City, and her sister: Helen Nottage of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Edith also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.
