Obituary of Clara L. Harrison

Clara L Harrison, age 79, a faithful servant of the Lord, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 21, 2013 following a long battle with heart disease. She was born in Geneva, Alabama to Louis and Molly Harrison. She was one of 16 children, the youngest girl out of 10 brothers and sisters. She retired from Greenlefe Golf and Tennis Resort. She dedicated her life to the service of the Lord, as a Sunday school teacher, children church leader and held bible studies at the apartment where she lived to supporting her family in every way she could and helping others. She loved all that God made from flowers, gardening, fishing the outdoors, crafts and all those that God put in her life. She will ever be a light that burns bright in our hearts truly loved and deeply missed. She is survived by sisters: Sara Francis Price, Ocoee FL and Patsy Helms (Tim), Phenix City AL and brothers: Kemp Harrison IL, John Harrison TX, and Bobby Hall FL. Her children: Jerome Whitehead (Terri) Davenport FL, Ronnie Whitehead AL, Alethia Bryer (Danny) Inglis FL, Richard Whitehead (Carolyn) Landrum SC, Wesley Whitehead(Pam) and Heather Sprinkle (Joe) both of Winter Haven FL, 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Winter Haven Church of God, 675 Ave E SW, Winter Haven FL, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, public viewing 11 to 12, service is at 12pm, grave side service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City FL following funeral services.
