KISSIMMEE - Robert Anthony Luckow, born February 16, 1941, died November 25, 2013 at his residence in Solivita, Poinciana, Florida after a courageous battle with an infection. Bob passed away peacefully at his home with his beloved wife of 43 years, Irena, at his side. Bob was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Pershing High School. He enlisted in the US Navy when he was just 17 years old and served three years active duty in Hawaii and Japan. He spent 41 years working in Loss Prevention at Comerica Bank and retired to Florida where he enjoyed playing golf and table tennis and many other activities with Irena. Bob enjoyed watching sports and was always cheering on his Detroit teams. He volunteered with the Children's Miracle Network and was active in the Honor Guard Veterans Club of Solivita. At gatherings, you would often find him on the dance floor or bouncing a baby on his knees. He loved his family and always took great care of them. He touched the lives of many people with his genuine heart and generous soul.
