Obituary of Betty J. Morrison-Jost

HAINES CITY - Betty J. Morrison-Jost, 80, of Haines City, passed away at home on December 3, 2013 from heart failure. She was born in Wauchula, FL on December 6, 1932 to Mary and George Conerly. She moved to Haines City in 1960, where she married her late husband Bill Morrison of Morrison Fruit Company and spent the next 25 years working with him in the citrus and cattle industry. Betty enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of her life hunting and fishing with family. Most recently, she became an avid fan of the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. PBR so much that she became a stock contractor. Betty was predeceased by her parents; first husband William Morrison; second husband Jim Jost; and step daughter Billie Jo Bilbrey. She is survived by her children William Morrison, Jr., Cindy Bailey and Linda Welsh; son in law Greg Bailey; and 8 grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 5-7 PM with Funeral Services Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
