Obituary of Randall Pilkenton

Mr. Randall Pilkenton, 69, went home to be with The Lord Friday, January 3, 2014, at his residence due to congestive heart failure. He was born August 22, 1944 in Pound, Virginia. He has resided in Winter Haven since 1956. He served in the armed forces. He was the former successful business owner of R & R Heating and Cooling of Eagle Lake for 41 years, and proudly turned the business over to his sons Randy, Shane and Steven. He loved his grandchildren, fishing, old cars, racecars, and he had a passion for greyhounds. He was married to his wife for 50 wonderful years. He was born to the late Delmer Lee and Alta Mae (Keiser) Pilkenton. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Carl Lee Pilkenton and Mack DL Pilkenton. He is survived by his wife Shelby (Cameron) Pilkenton and 3 sons, Randall E.(Rebecca) Pilkenton, Shane A. Pilkenton, Steven E. Pilkenton, 4 grandchildren: Randall J. Pilkenton, Clayton T. Pilkenton, Mason S. Pilkenton, and Cameron L. Pilkenton, and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, and the funeral will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL. Interment will follow at Church of Christ Cemetery, Eagle Lake.
