Obituary of Edward L. Lambert

HAINES CITY - Edward L. Lambert, 79, of Lake Alfred died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City. He was born February 11, 1934 in Fort Payne, Alabama to W.D. and Elizabeth (Gillispie) Lambert. Mr. Lambert was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Auburndale. He was predeceased by his parents; daughters Judy Woods and Patricia Lambert; brother J.C. Lambert; and sisters Faye Gobles, Silvia Gilispie and Gladys Smith. He is survived by his wife Bessie Lambert; son James Lambert of Lake Alfred; daughter Mary Rhodes of Lake Alfred; brothers Harold Lambert of Alabama and Ray Lambert of Lakeland; sister Linda Robison of Texas; grandchildren Donnie Rhodes of Michigan, Laci Mills of Michigan, Tina Potts of Mulberry, Dennis Woods of Tampa, Chris Lambert of Lake Alfred and Jennipher Jordan of Lake Alfred; and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 5-7PM with Funeral Services Friday, January 10, 2014 at 10AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
