Obituary of Minnie Lou Smith

WINTER HAVEN - Minnie L. Smith, 88, of Winter Haven died Tuesday, January 7, 2014. She was born August 9, 1925 in Alma, Georgia to John and Catherine (Ridgen) Holton. She was Christian by Faith. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her parents; husband Ernest Smith; and daughters Lora Elizabeth Smith, Donna Faye Smith and Patricia Rutledge. She is survived by sons Earl Jimmy (Misty Dawn) Smith of Champions Gate and Joseph Wayne (Brenda) Smith of St. Cloud; daughters June Marie (Enrico) Palmieri of St. Cloud, Joan (Santo) LaFauci of Lake Wales, Sheila Noe of Winter Haven, Barbara (Emmette) Dennis of Texas and Wanda (Otilio) Perez of Winter Haven; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 11AM to 12 Noon Sunday, January 12, 2014 with services to follow at 12 Noon at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Interment will be Monday, January 13, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 12:30 PM.
