Obituary of Troy Mack Carver

DAVENPORT - Troy "Mack" Carver, 74, of Davenport went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2014 due to heart failure. The youngest of 3 children, Troy Mack Carver was born to the late Earl Wayne and Mary Sue Carver on September 17, 1939 in Shaw, Mississippi. Mack attended High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and relocated to Florida after High School, where he began to build his family and future. He worked persistently and opened Carver Diesel Service in 1978. Mack attended East Side Baptist Church in Haines City. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and fun stuff like flying radio controlled aircraft with his grandchildren. He leaves behind his Life Companion, Nell O'Neal, of Davenport; sons Harvey Mack Carver and wife Cathy, Randall Dwayne Carver and wife Bobbie; daughter Paula Sue Carver-Ivins; and 11 Grandchildren; Amanda Bell, Samantha Spieler, Troy, Austin & Traviss Ivins, Kristy & Hayden Carver, Rhaiannon O'Neal, Caleb, Austin & Avery Stewart. Mack also leaves behind 3 Great Grandchildren, Oliver Mack Spieler, Sadie Lynn Bell, and Weston Cooper Ivins. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 10-11AM with Services to follow at 11AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake Alfred.
