Obituary of William Leo Long

William 'Leo' Long, 65, of Winter Haven passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his residence. A native of Cullman, Alabama, born November 13, 1948, to Leon and Lola Mae Baxter Long. Leo has lived in Winter Haven most of his life. He was employed for the School Board, retiring after 40 years, he was also a member of Faith Baptist Church of Winter Haven. He joins his beloved mother, father, and brother Steve Long. Leo was married 46 years to the love of his life, Linda Williford Long, by whom he is survived along with five sons, William Richard (Joy) of Eagle Lake, Michael Scott, Mark Anthony (Angel), Jesse Cole (Kayla) and Jared Allen, all of Winter Haven; nine grandchildren; brother, Donnie Long of Braselton, GA; sisters; Linda Long Folsom of Winter Haven and Janice Long Wagner of Sebastian. Funeral services will be at 11 am. Monday at Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
