Obituary of Larry M. Roland

Larry M. Roland, 70 of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center in Auburndale due to cancer. Born February 15, 1943 in St. Louis, MO he moved here in 1975 from Orlando. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Haven. Larry was a General Manager for a Ford Dealership and one of the owners of Super Cool Cold Storage. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a former member of the American Legion, Post 8 in Winter Haven. He is preceded in death by a son, Michael Roland and a daughter, Kym Roland. He is survived by: his wife Lynn E. Roland; a grandson, Trey Roland; and his step-father, Richard Fye of Gainesville, FL. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM till 4:00PM, Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 17, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
