Obituary of Carl G. Moyer

CARL G. MOYER, 70, LAKE ALFRED - Carl G. Moyer, age 70, passed away at home due to cardiac arrest on Thursday, February 20, 2014. He was born July 6, 1943 in Vandergrift, PA and moved to Florida in 1962. He is survived by his wife Sandra; his son Gary (Rhonda); his daughter Jackie (Bryan); and one granddaughter Savannah. Carl is also survived by three brothers and two sisters. He was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps, and worked in a variety of industries before his retirement in 2004. Everyone will remember Carl for his quick wit and ever present laughter. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26th from 10 am to 11 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, FL. Funeral services will follow immediately at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
