Obituary of James T. Roberts

DAVENPORT - James Ted Roberts, 72, died Feb. 20, 2014 at his home in Davenport, Fla. from heart failure. Ted was born June 16, 1941 in Davenport, Fla. He attended Montverde Academy and graduated from Haines City High School. He served as a Military Policemen in the US Army from 1965 - 1969 and provided security protection to the US Ambassador to Panama. He retired from McKee Foods. Ted was remembered as a generous and kind man. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patsy Roberts; his four children, Ann Barnhill of Haines City, Cheryl Richards of Davenport, Dan Blanton of Davenport and Jennifer Roberts Johnson of Tallahassee; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Annie Lou Roberts, and brothers Albert L. and Charles Roberts.
