Obituary of Madge A. Smith

Madge A. Smith of Auburndale passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 from dementia. She was 86. A native of Fitzgerald, Georgia, born March 9, 1928 to Barney and Ruth Owen Crews, Madge moved here in 1959 from Georgia. She was the Owner of Madges Place in Bartow. Madge was preceded in death by her daughter Betty Nell O'Neal, her parents, and 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons: James "Johnny" O'Neal of Winter Haven, Kenneth O'Neal of Houston, TX, and Ronnie O'Neal of Winter Haven; her daughters: Sharon O'Neal of Lakeland and Joyce O'Neal of Auburndale. Madge also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Monday from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM.
