Obituary of Betty Sue Sanford

Betty Sue Sanford, 75, of Winter Haven, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family due to myxosarcoma. Born August 10, 1938 in Connersville, IN she moved to Florida 12 years ago. Betty was a member of the Winter Haven Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Church Choir for 10 years, Betty served in the Park Ministry and had a love of gardening. She was a devoted wife of 56 years who deeply cherished her children and grandchildren. Betty is survived by her husband James; her children, Jeff Sanford of Liberty, IN, Kathy Levline of Fairfield, OH, Robert (Nancy) Sanford of Niskayuna, NY, and Mike (Mindy) Sanford of Talladega, AL; her mother, Geneva Smiley of Liberty, IN; 2 sisters, Joy Stinson of Richmond, IN and Gayla Siebert of Liberty, IN; and 6 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm till 3:00pm, Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Winter Haven Church of the Nazarene. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00pm. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
