Obituary of Estelle Marie Waters

Estelle Marie Waters, 90 years old, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale due to heart failure. She was born in Lulu, FL on Nov. 27, 1923 to Raymond & Mattie Pearce. Estelle grew up in Dundee and lived in the Haines city area all of her life. She retired from Green Clinic after many years of service. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Estelle was preceded in death by husbands, Carl L. Markuson and James M. Waters; mother & father, Raymond and Mattie Pearce; sister, Delores Howell; daughter, Sandra Carter; and grandson, Brian Carter. She is survived by 3 children, a son, Jerry (Donna) Markuson, and daughters, Keitha Vavrik and Ann (Keith) Jowers,; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Rubio, Ben and Andrew Markuson, Brent, Amanda and Douglas Jowers; and 6 great-grandchildren, Hannah & Haley Carter, Kane Macias, Kinsley Deafonseca, and Landon & Maci Rubio. There will be a gathering of friends from 3:00pm till 5:00pm, Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Memorial services will be at 11:00am, Monday, May 5, 2014 at the funeral home chapel.
