Obituary of Catherine A. Kroll

Catherine A. Kroll, 74, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2014 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure. Born Feb. 18, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY to Gasper and Josephine Cascio, she married Donald W. Kroll on April 12, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY. They moved to Hollywood, FL in 1959 to start a family. Cathy was very active in the Moose and Eastern Star, in which she held various offices. Cathy retired in 2002 from Allstate and moved to Winter Haven, FL with her family in close proximity. Cathy was a devoted wife, loving mother, and generous grandmother. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah, and is survived by: her husband of 56 years, Donald; her daughters and son-in-laws, Renee & Gary Nehila, Lori & David Methot, and Melissa & Archie Glicakis. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Kevin & Keith Nehila, Tavis & Dylan Methot, and Sierra & Niko Glicakis. In lieu of flowers please send a charitable donation to either The Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Her memorial service will be held 6pm, May 19th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 656 Avenue L, NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
