Obituary of Hoyt Jerry Bradberry

Hoyt Jerry Bradberry, 66, of Lakeland, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale due to pneumonia. Born Feb. 15, 1948 in Blount County, AL ,he was a resident of Polk County for most of his life. He was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, was of the Baptist Faith and was veteran of the US Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by: his wife Cheryl Bradberry; 2 brothers, Perry and Julian Bradberry; and a sister, Mary Sue Bradberry. He is survived by: a son, Hoyt J. Bradberry, Jr. of Lakeland; 4 daughters, Dana Doty of Lakeland, Charity Hamilton and her husband, Gary Hamilton of Lakeland, Christine Tyre of Auburndale and Tammy Foust and her husband, Anthony of Winter Haven; 3 brothers, Terry Bradberry of Winter Haven, Gary Bradberry of Alabama and Lou Bradberry of Alabama; a sister, Sharon Bickerstaff of Arab, AL; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
