Obituary of Willie Hester

Willie "Bo" Hester, Jr., 78, of Haines City, FL passed away on May 16, 2014. He was born on March 10, 1936 in Cairo, GA and moved from there in 1952 to Haines City. Bo was a self employed citrus harvester and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Some of his interests included reading the paper and watching NASCAR, but what he loved to do was spend time with his family especially his grandchildren. Bo was predeceased by his parents, Willie ,Sr. and Clifford Hester; daughter, Sheila Yvonne Hester; siblings, Charlie Hester, Joyce Flythe, Lois Fleetwood and Mattie Lee Day; step-brother, David Collins. He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Phyllis Hester; children, Gary William (Sandra "Sam" ) Hester of Haines City, FL and Sherry (Andre) Metz of Haines City, FL; sister, Dorothy Lewis, Cairo, GA; step-sister, Jeanelle Bass, Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Corey (Sandra) Hester, Adrianne "Ady" (Keith) Brannon, Elizabeth Metz and great granddaughter, Aubrey Ann Hester. Visitation will be Monday 5/19/14 from 10 am until the funeral at 11 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
