Obituary of Kenneth G. Turner

Kenneth G. Turner, 77, of Carbondale, PA and Winter Haven, FL passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. Born January 1, 1937 to Harold & Josephine Plumley Turner in Oneonta, NY, he was a retired salesman for Weis Food Service. He was longtime resident of Carbondale, PA and had been a winter resident of Winter Haven, FL for the past 13 years. He is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Lenda; a son, Clay Turner and his wife Karen of Carbondale, PA; 2 daughters, Kelly Jordan and her husband Joe of Carbondale, PA and Stacy Knowles and her husband John of Scranton, PA; grandchildren, Kyle Knowles and his wife Christy of Wetherfield, CT, Collin Knowles of Denver, CO, Jonathan Knowles of Scranton, PA and Cory and Samantha Jordan of Carbondale, PA; and 1 great-grandchild, Kaylee Knowles of Connecticut.
