Obituary of William Burton Gray

William Burton "Bill" Gray, JR, 88, passed away on June 7, 2014. Bill was born September 26, 1925 in Lake Hamilton, Fl. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He owned and worked in truck brokerages in Haines City, FL for over 60 years, hauling citrus and produce out of Florida. He married Mable Gray in 1968 and they loved to travel. His favorite city was Las Vegas and he went there often. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mable and one daughter, Diantha Gray Byrd. Mr. Gray is survived by 5 children: Grady Edward, Wanda, William, Wayne and David (Chris) Gray; step-son, Mike Smith, step-daughter, Tammas (Gilbert) Smith; sister, Bonnie (Herman) Hill; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2pm at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Fl.
