Chester Chrzan passed away in Auburndale, Florida on June 12, 2014. He was the beloved son of Louis and Florence nee Sidelko Chrzan. He leaves behind two brothers William, of New Hartford, New York, and John, of New York Mills, New York. In addition to being a beloved brother, Chester was a beloved nephew, cousin, Godfather, and friend to many. To his cousins he was more than a cousin, he was a brother. Chester was born in Utica, New York. Raised in New York Mills, New York, he was a graduate of New York Mills High School. Chester also served with the US Army in Germany during the Cold War. He was a certified Emergency Medical Technician, EMT, and also worked for twenty years, until his retirement, caring for others as part of the New York State Mental Health System. Chester was a simple man, happy and care free. He lived his life as he wanted. As all who knew him would say, he was a true free spirit. Chester enjoyed his radio, his music, dancing, travelling, movies especially Westerns, and lively conversation. In living his life, Chester touched the lives of many in very positive and special ways. To those whose lives he touched, there will be only one Chet. Chester will be interred in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. He was a very special person who will be sorely missed by many. May he rest in peace.
