Obituary of Baldomero Santiago

Baldomero "Mero" Santiago of Haines City, Florida passed away on June 20, 2014 at his residence. He was 92. Mero was born on November 30, 1921 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to Victoriano Santiago and Maltilde Rivera and moved to Haines City in 2005 from Puerto Rico. While living in Puerto Rico he owned and operated a supermarket called El Paraiso, and when you could get him away from work he enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his parents and wife, Blanca Villalobos and he is survived by his children, Andres Santiago, Sandra Morales, Ruben Santiago, Ivette Santiago; siblings, Santiago "Chago", Salvador "Tuto", Monserrate "Mona", Antonio "Tony", Juan "Johnny", George "Jorge", Gil " Gilbert", Ana Milagrosa "Milin Anna", Haydee, Andres " Jimmy", Victoria "Vicky"; twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 11:00 am until the funeral at 1:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida.
