Obituary of Rajendranauth Mahabub

Rajendranauth Mahabub, affectionationly, known as Romeo /Eshai was born in Success Guyana on December 5, 1970 to Mahadai and the late Dindial Mahabub. In 1980, the family moved to the United States and resided in Mount Vernon, NY, where he attended school, and later joined the United States Navy. In 1995 Romeo/ Eshai was stationed in Panama City Beach where he met and married Valerie Cooper. During their 15 years of marriage, they began a family, traveled, met friends and enjoyed their extended families. They resided in many places, but called Haines City, FL home. Romeo/Eshai served his country for 20 years, retiring from the Navy as a Petty Officer First Class. On Monday, June 23, 2014, Romeo/Eshai closed his eyes in death. He died at home with family members close by. His father, Dindial preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his demise, Valerie, ex-wife, friend and comforter, a loving daughter and son, Asia and Ian; mother, Mahadai, two loving sisters, Vijay(Judy) and Pamela(Frannie); paternal aunts, Shamdai of NY and Pemea, of Canada; maternal uncles, Budda and wife Ruby from New York, Latchman and wife Brumby, Jimmy, Joe and wife Kamla from Miami; maternal aunts, Battie, Nadira and husband Dave, Indira, all of New York; Lowtie, of Miami, FL; host of cousins, friends, and neighbors. The family will be receiving friends at Oak Ridge Funeral Home, 2425 Havendale Blvd , Winter Haven, FL, Friday, June 27, 6:00pm-8:00pm with the funeral scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday June 28 at same location. Full military honors will be presented.
