Obituary of Barbara Jean Orrick

Barbara Jean Orrick, 75, of Winter Haven, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center due to a stroke. Born August 24, 1938 in Florence, AL she moved here in 1958. She was at one time a hairdresser at Beauty Walk on Havendale Blvd., and was co-owner of Gordons Paint and Body in Winter Haven. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gordon Orrick in March of this year. She is survived by: a son, John Gordon Orrick and his wife, Joellen of Winter Haven; a daughter, Patricia Jean Conlon of Winter Haven; a brother, Don Fulmer of Crossroads, AL; a sister, Alene McWilliams of Red Rock, AL; 5 grandchildren, Tyler & Lance (Alexandria) Orrick, Zachary Conlon, Corey Bell (Daniel)Temples and Brandon Moran; and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am.
