Obituary of Norbert George Haas

Norbert George Haas, 82, of Auburndale, FL passed away peacefully on July 12, 2014 at his residence due to cancer. Born to Norbert C. and Amelia Jacobs Haas July 16, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH he was a tax collector for the Florida Dept. of Revenue, a veteran of the US Army and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven. Preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gene Haas. He is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Helen; his children, Beverly (Richard) Lindeman, Rick (Robbin), Dennis (Lori) , Kathy Haas, Joe (Tammy) , Dale (Carol), Tracy (Susan), and Doug (Karininia); a brother, Leo Haas; 26 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel in Winter Haven, FL. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in his name to Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33881.
