Obituary of Dorothy L. Moore

Dorothy L. Moore of Haines City, Florida went on to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Haines City Health Care. She was 97. A native of Ashburn Virginia, born April 16, 1917 to Ashbey and Harriet Johnson Harrison, Dorothy moved here in May 1996 from Falls Church, VA. She was a Homemaker, and attended Landmark Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Walter H. Moore, Sr, and her son Walter H. Moore, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Walters (Ronald) of Ridgecrest, CA, and Judith A. Grafton (Victor), of Haines City; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 to 11AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM from the funeral home chapel.
