Obituary of Mattie Lou Clanton Scarbrough

Mattie Lou Clanton Scarbrough, 89, of Dundee, FL passed away on August 25, 2014 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1925 in Barretts, GA near Valdosta to Lonzo and Ardelia Griffiths Clanton. She and her husband, Leon moved to Dundee in 1947. She worked at Donald Duck Citrus Plant in Lake Wales for 38 years. She was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church and The Church on the Hill. She is survived by 2 sons, Donald (Trish) Scarbrough and Richard (Karen) Scarborough; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Our family offers a special thanks to the loving caregivers who made life easier for Mom. Thank you Dorothy Woods and Vivian Parker. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 am until the funeral at 11 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
