Obituary of James Brannon

HAINES CITY - James Joseph "Jay" Brannon, 66, of Haines City, Florida passed away September 29, 2014 at his home of heart failure. Jay leaves a legacy of four children, Jaime-Jo, Maria Rose, Jesse Jay, and Emily Theresa, along with three grandchildren, Jacob and Jude Grow, and Cooper Barbaro. Jay was married for 44 years to Theresa DeFini-Brannon, and cherished his family above all. Jay was acting Governor and active member of the Haines City Moose Lodge, and Moose Riders. Jay embraced his fellow brothers of the Moose lodge as extended family. A memorial honoring Jay as a Navy Veteran will be held on October 4, 2014 at Haines City Moose Lodge at 2:00 p.m. Jay will be forever loved and sadly missed. Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City.
