Richard Alan Bess, 56, of Winter Haven passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at his residence due to heart failure. Born July 10 1958 in Sebastopol, California he has lived in the Winter Haven area for 50 years. He was a retired Truck Driver and loved to hunt. Richard was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by: his wife of 26 years, Patti; 2 sons, Heath Barnes and Wade Bess of Winter Haven; 2 grandchildren, Davin Barnes and Kennedy Bess; and 3 brothers, Bill Bess, John Bess and Bobby Bess.
