Obituary of Betty R. Rowland

WINTER HAVEN - Betty R. Rowland, 66, of Winter Haven died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born February 6, 1948 in Bartow, Florida to J W and Eva Lee (Durley) Holman. Mrs. Rowland was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dundee. She was known for her love of shopping and cooking, as well as her extreme devotion to her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband of 45 years Simon Rowland; son Scott (Stacie) Rowland of Clemmons, NC; brother Ronnie (Lawanda) Holman of Ruskin, FL; and grandchildren Heather, Andrew, Alexis and Harleigh. Visitation will be Monday, October 13, 2014 from 10-11 AM with Funeral Services to follow at 11AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
