Obituary of Carla B. Gaswint

Mrs. Carla B. Gaswint of Winter Haven, FL, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home. She was 80. A native of Dayton, Kentucky, born February 13, 1934 to Walter W. and Helen Guard Whitton, Carla moved here in 2007 from California. She was a retired Telephone Operator for Ma Bell and ATT, and she was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven, where she served on the AWANA team. Carla was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Gaswint. She is survived by her children: Donald M. Gaswint of Brandon, FL, Jeffery B. Gaswint, Timaree K. Gaswint, and Jolein R. Draper, all of Winter Haven. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, 3:30 PM at Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Interment will be held prior to services at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
