Obituary of Jerry Leroy Huxell

Prof. Jerry Leroy Huxell, 76, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center following an aggressive cancer. He leaves his wife, Delia; children; Zsazsa, Vanessa, Dan Joel, Michael, Amy & Paul, Stacey & Ray, and Jenny & Ratanak. Grand children: Zavier, Violet, Destiny, Dakota, Colton, Sydney, Alexandria, Heather, Jesi, David, Shannon, Jacquie, Brayden, Brookelyn, Jordyn and Sasha. Brothers: Robert, Lawrence, William Jr. and sister Sally. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of William Sr. and June. He was 1956 graduate of Purcell, High School, He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, an MBA degree, a PhD in Business Management from La Salle University and a DBA from Ansted University, UK. He was a veteran of US Marine 4th command Company. He was the Associate Dean of Masters programs and Professor of Operations Management at the Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands. He travelled to over 56 countries for teaching and overseeing the MBA programs. Prior to joining the education field he worked for GE, Chrysler Corporation, National Water Lift Co. Control System as VP Manufacturing and Hills-McCanna Co. as VP Operations. He was the co-founder of Huxell Group LLC. He was also the property manager for several vacation homes short term and long term in the Orlando area, Kissimmee, Clermont and Davenport area. Services were held in Haines City, Florida.
