Obituary of Charles B. Hunnicutt

Charles Brown Buddy' Hunnicutt, II of Lakeland, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center from respiratory failure. He was 54. A native of Winter Haven, born December 20, 1960 to Charles and Margaret Griffin Hunnicutt, Charles has lived in this area his whole life. He started bagging groceries at Winn-Dixie at a young age, and over the years he worked his way up to Meat Market Manager. He graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1979, and enjoyed fishing. Charles was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving daughter: Courtney Hunnicutt of Orlando; his sister: Peggy Woodard (Buddy) of Winter Haven, and his nieces: Angela Brown (Glenn) and Bridget Woodard, both of Winter Haven. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 2 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Services will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Park.
