Obituary of Edna W. Gwaltney

Edna Winn Gwaltney, 93, passed away January 1, 2015 at Lake Alfred Assisted Living Facility. She was the third daughter born to Walter W. & Pearl Smith Winn in Lunenburg County, Virginia. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Earl H. Gwaltney and her only son, Wayne. She and her husband came to Haines City from Colonial Heights, VA in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel W. Ledford, Sarah W. Tyner and brother, Harry Winn. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews living throughout the world. Edna will be remembered for her unfailing faith in God and her beautiful smile. A private burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery, Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice. Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
