Obituary of Lucille Hurst

Lucille Hurst, 88, of Auburndale, FL passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center in Auburndale. Born to Thomas and Mamie Jackson Drawdy, March 15, 1926 in Winter Haven, Florida, She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker most of her life , but had worked at Bordo Citrus in her earlier years. She was also a member of the Winter Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lucille was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, Henry F. Hurst; two sons, Danny Hurst and Darrell Hurst; her siblings, Wilma Holton, Theo Durden, Herman Drawdy and Pate Daniel; and a daughter-in-law, Peggy Hurst. She is survived by: her son, Ron Hurst and his wife Janna of Auburndale; a daughter-in-law, Sally Hurst; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Tuesday, January 13, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
