Obituary of Marvin Anthony Douberly

HAINES CITY - Marvin Anthony Douberly, Jr., 74, of Haines City died Monday, January 19, 2015 in Winter Haven. He was born April 2, 1940 to Marvin A. Douberly, Sr. and Darrie Mae (Douglas) Douberly. Mr. Douberly was a member of Living Water Church in Eagle Lake and had retired from Dundee Citrus as a Receiving Foreman. He was known for his great love of the outdoors. He was predeceased by his parents; son Marvin Anthony Douberly III; and sister Susie Witt. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Becky Douberly; sons David (Rachel) Douberly of Mulberry, Steve (Stephanie) Glass of Winter Haven, and Bo (Julie) Glass of Haines City; daughters Janet (Mario) Acosta of Dundee and Wendy (Scott) Kerr of Haines City; brothers W.P. (Dorothy) Douberly of Newberry, Kenneth (Betty) Douberly of Bartow and Gary (Christie) Douberly of Keystone Heights; sisters Janice (Wendall) Combs of Taylor, Linda Walker of Lake City and Gladys "Pat" Douberly of Lake City; grandchildren Pablo, Amber, Maggie, Brittanni, Georgia and Wyatt; and great grandchildren Brentley and Colton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 2-3 PM with Funeral Services at 3 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City. Interment will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Noon at Swift Creek Cemetery in Lake Butler, FL.
