Obituary of William James Mills

William James Mills, 77, of Auburndale, FL passed away on January 19, 2015 at his residence. Born January 19, 1938 in Alabama, he moved here in 1952 from Alabama. He was retired as a Boilermaker and also was a union representative. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at the Mall. Mr. Mills is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha; 3 sons, Douglas Mills of Auburndale, FL, Don Mills of Mulberry, FL and Allen Mills of Auburndale, FL; 2 brothers, Charles Mills of Missouri and Donnell Mills of Atlanta, GA; and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, January 23, 2015 at the First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland. Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
