Obituary of Hazel Halcomb Gray

HAINES CITY - Hazel Halcomb Gray, 67, of Haines City died February 28, 2014 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born in Hazzard, Kentucky April 21, 1946 to Orbin and Polly Ann (Smith) Halcomb. Mrs. Gray was of the Baptist faith, loved Christian music and had a passion for taking photographs and videos. She loved to read and loved her family, especially her grandchildren, above all. She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband of 46 years Robert "Wayne" Gray; children Ruth Ann Horton of Winter Haven, Venus Holmes of Texas, Anthony Gray, Sr. of Haines City and Peachie Gray of Auburndale; brothers Henry "Joe" Halcomb and Jay Halcomb; sisters Patsy Jean Synider and Nancy Lee Morton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
