Obituary of Ronald Robinson

Ronald 'The King' Robinson, 75, of Haines City, FL passed away on November 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 12, 1946, in Alabama City, AL to William Chester and Thelma Louise Thompson Robinson. Ronald moved to Haines City in the 1950's and if you ever lived in Haines City or the surrounding areas you knew of Ronald and his family. Ronald was of the Christian faith. Ronald knew and loved the Lord with all his heart. He loved trains, playing cards with his family, smashing cans, and riding his three-wheel bike. Ronald was known for having a traveling smile and a love for anyone he met, in fact, he never met a stranger. He enjoyed collecting money and it was said that he always looked forward to his birthday to receive gifts which mostly consisted of money. His grandest birthday of all has come. Happy rebirth “Big Money” Ronnie, we’ll see you soon. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ross, William and Roger Dale Robinson. Ronald is survived by his siblings, David (Terri) Robinson of Centerville, GA, Darlene Kellum of Haines City, FL, Karen Griffin of Haines City, FL, Terry (Nancy) Robinson of Winter Haven, FL and Mark Robinson of Haines City, FL; 9 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews; 5 great-great nieces. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am until the funeral at 11 am, all at Still Water Christian Life Center in Haines City. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
