Obituary of James Emory Roberts

James Emory Roberts, 87, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe Hospice House. Born April 28, 1934, in Ashburn, GA he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was of the Baptist Faith, loved to Hunt, Fish and do woodwork. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the National Guard. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty; his parents, Emory and Rachel Speight Roberts; a brother, Willie Frank Roberts; and a sister, Leona Buxton. Mr. Roberts is survived by three sons, Jimmy (Tanya) Roberts, Ralph Roberts and William (Lisa) Roberts; a brother, Kenneth Roberts; three grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts, Brady (Tiffany) Roberts and Shawn Roberts; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan & Kinsley. Graveside services will be at 2:00pm, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Auburndale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Good Shepherd Hospice.
