Obituary of James David Crofut

James Crofut Sr, of Winter Haven died on Monday December 20, 2021 with his family and friend Georgia Chiaia at his side. He was born in Derby, Connecticut on October 18, 1950. He was an Army veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a long standing member of the American Legion as well as the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed helping children and was a proud volunteer for the Trucker Buddy organization. He is survived by his children Cynthia Neville, James Crofut Jr, Christy Bun and a step son Todd Pelosi, his sister Leona Waldron and brother in law George (Butch) Waldron along with several nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Crofut, his parents Leonard and Ellen Crofut, his sister Sylvia Crofut and brother John Crofut. A memorial service will be held from 2pm-5pm on Saturday Jan 08, 2022 at the American Legion Post 4 at 1375 Arianna St in Lakeland.
