Mr. Smith, who I lovingly called Mr. Lapsley, and his beautiful wife Bobbie, were my dear friends since the late 1970 s, when I met, worked with, and experienced a lifetime of memories with their son, Tom (Smitty) through Turner Sports. Mr. Lapsley and Bobbie were such good human beings, Christians, and loving to all that knew them. My parents got to befriend them at the airports, when Smitty and I were traveling in work. I have nothing but fond memories of every encounter, via phone or in person. Their home was open to everyone. Heaven is a more loving place with Mr. Lapsley and Bobbie together again. God bless, and my love and sympathies to Lapsley and all the family. You had great, great parents for a long time.
