Obituary of Patricia Gaffney Peavey

Patricia Gaffney Peavey, 83, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on June 28, 2022. She was born on December 7, 1938 in Haines City, FL to Ralph and Ann Taylor Gaffney. Patricia worked at Christy’s Sundown Restaurant as a manager and she was a member of the Westwood Missionary Baptist Church in Winter Haven, FL. 

She is preceded in death by her parents. Patricia is survived by her children, Michael Peavey and JoAnn (Robert) Deitrich; brother, Russell “Dave” (Cathy) Gaffney; and grandson, Alexander McGreevy. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. The family will be receiving friends at 10:30 a.m. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL. 

In lieu of flowers the family of Patricia would like donations to be made to ASPCA.
